Live Cinema UK was established to research and promote the use of live activity at film screenings to augment the film viewing experience. This has included singalongs, theatrical interventions and unusual screening locations. We have recently moved into the world of fulldome, and are excited by the existing work and the potential to promote this medium to audiences who form part of the experience economy. We will look at the ways live cinema as a genre has grown, and find out whether – and how – fulldome can take advantage of pre-existing routes to mass market success. Presented with Lisa Brook.
