Janire is a multimedia artist, photojournalist, curator and producer specialised in immersive media storytelling. She is the Creative Director of 4Pi Productions, an experiential art and events studio providing creative solutions utilising 360° content. She is the co-funder of the immersive lab CULTVR that opened in Cardiff, UK in 2019, to facilitate the development and presentation of digital arts, live performance, VR and fulldome cinema.

With a background in arts management, Janire has a track record coordinating large scale projects internationally that combine art and technology. In 2018 she was an artist in residence at Society of Arts and Technology, SAT, Montreal, Canada and in 2017 a Research Scholar at Wilkinson College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences at Chapman University in California. Her work has been featured on CNN News, The Guardian, The New York Times, The Washington Post, and the BBC, and has also published two books with RM Publishing, 'Moving Forward, Looking Back' and 'Atomic Ed'.

CULTVR Lab (https://www.cultvr.cymru/) is Europe’s first immersive arts centre and cross-disciplinary space focused on digital arts practice, live performance and 360º cinema. Operating since November 2019, it boasts the largest screen in Wales, providing a distinctive backdrop to its range of activities including live music, art installations, exhibitions, tech demonstrations, seminars, workshops, film screenings and AV shows. Conceived by award-winning studio 4Pi Productions, the Lab creates a richly engaging environment for artists, technologists, academics, designers and audiences to come together in the pursuit of this unique medium’s capabilities and to explore methods of immersive storytelling and performance. The Lab is underpinned by a dynamic team of passionate industry specialists and creatives.
